After spending 30 years of his life in prison for various non-violent offenses, Don Moseman, “Walkin’ Don,” found joy in traveling the state – and the country – by foot.

He was only able to walk in circles while in his cell or the prison yard, so walking brings him a sense of freedom. He sometimes walks for 13 days without resting, and has walked across the country.

This video chronicles his journeys.
