Thomas Johnson grew up in Miami and graduated from Florida International University in 2010 with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science. While at F.I.U., Thomas covered local politics and wrote news features for The Miami Herald and contributed to The Beacon, F.I.U.’s student-newspaper. Thomas currently writes for The Classical as well as the basketball website, nyfwc.com, which he co-created.
