VIDEO – Even state park visitors can’t agree about Prop 21

A survey of beach goers at Half Moon Bay State Beach illustrated differing opinions on California Proposition 21, which would eliminate state parks’ current day use fees, and replace them with an annual $18 vehicle license fee. Some visitors supported the measure, which would increase park funding to $500 million each year. Others oppose it, saying only people who use the parks should pay for them.

Peninsula Press reporters Josh Hicks and Julia James contributed to this video.
