The Holiday Caltrain rolled into Palo Alto’s California Avenue station, on the evening of Dec. 7. Families and friends gathered to watch as the festive train — presented by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation — arrived at the station bringing holiday cheer. The Salvation Army Brass Band and local chorus sang Christmas carols, as the crowd was greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Claus and their reindeer. The Holiday Caltrain went up and down the Peninsula on Dec. 7 and 8, making stops at nine stations.
