In the recent past, a passport was not required to travel between the United States and Canada. But as of late, the relationship between Silicon Valley and Canada has been anything but connected. Work visas for Canadian citizens, particularly entrepreneurs, are hard to come by.
In Silicon Valley — a global hub for technology — many want to move here to fulfill their dreams. However, tightened U.S. regulations are not making it easy to get a visa. The friendly neighbors to the north are held to the same scrutiny as any other country, which is forcing many of them to stay at home.
