Halloween celebrations on the Peninsula draw costume-clad crowds

In the days leading up to this year’s Halloween holiday, there were various celebrations across cities on the San Francisco Peninsula.

On Saturday, Menlo Park families dressed in costume, participated in a parade and watched a magician perform. On the same day, a bit north in Redwood City, families braved a haunted house and played games in the city’s “Spooktakular” Halloween carnival. On Halloween day, young patients at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto celebrated during the facility’s annual Trick-or-Treat Trail event.
