Stanford journalism students report from Peninsula — and from Egypt (PODCAST)

On the Peninsula Report radio show, Georgia Wells talked about her experience leaving the Stanford Graduate Program in Journalism last spring to report on the Arab Spring in Egypt. Her work was published on The Atlantic’s website, and she has now returned to Stanford to finish her master’s degree.

David Ruiz discussed a startup company, Nest Labs, that has created a “smart” thermostat to learns users’ behaviors.

And Marcella De Laurentiis tells the stories of two women’s soccer players — one past and one possible future Stanford star — and how they’ve led seemingly parallel lives.

Listen live to KZSU (FM 90.1) or stream the Peninsula Report online every Friday from 3-4 p.m.
